The Old Forge Named Finalist in the Dorset Tourism Awards 2026

We are absolutely delighted to announce that The Old Forge has been named a Finalist in the Dorset Tourism Awards 2026 in the Glamping Business of the Year category.

As a small, family-run business this recognition means so much to us.

Since taking over The Old Forge, our goal has been simple: to create a peaceful countryside retreat where guests can switch off from busy lives, we've always wanted every guest to leave feeling refreshed.

Being recognised as a finalist is a wonderful milestone and a testament to the support we've received from our amazing guests over the years.

We'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, left us a lovely review, recommended us to friends and family, or followed our journey. Every booking, every kind word and every recommendation has helped us grow, and we're incredibly grateful.

We're also proud to be recognised alongside so many fantastic tourism businesses across Dorset, all of whom work so hard to showcase the very best our county has to offer.

We'll be sharing more news once the final awards have been announced, but for now we're simply taking a moment to celebrate becoming a finalist.
