A small but well-appointed en-suite bathroom features a shower and sustainable toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There’s also a comfortable sofa bed suitable for two children or one small adult. A chest of drawers and handy wall hooks provide ample storage for longer stays.
Guests can enjoy a selection of locally sourced tea, coffee, and biscuits, with a kettle and fridge provided for your convenience. Every detail, from the vintage décor to the thoughtful touches, has been designed to make your stay feel relaxed, homely, and just a little bit special.
For families, our children love it when others come to stay! Well-behaved children of all ages are very welcome. The sofa bed in the Melbury Room is a narrow double, and will comfortably sleeps one child or small adult — or two little ones snuggled up.

The breakfasts were very tasty, freshly cooked and were both locally sourced and of great quality. Even the yoghurt was made at a local farm. Sophie was a very friendly and helpful host and made our stay very pleasant. It is in a very lovely location and I only regret we didn’t have time to explore it further.”
