For our Bed and Breakfast accommodation, we have three rooms:
The Green Room
Unlatch the pine door to enter the Green Room, a light and spacious family room, full of character with exposed oak beams, a wrought iron antique double bed, a Dutch pine single bed and a charming hand painted antique bedroom suite. There is an en suite shower and loo, tea making facilities, a radio and a television. The greem room sleeps two to three.

The Blue Room
The Blue Room is a delightful cottage bedroom under the eaves. Exposed beams frame the window and a vintage patchwork quilt drapes the comfortable double bed. There is a sink in the room, along with tea making facilities, a radio and a television. The adjacent private bathroom has a fascinating collection of books; you may find yourself in there for longer than you anticipated!
The Single Room
The Single Room is a charming single bedroom with a pine bed, a sink, a radio, a television and tea making facilities. This single room also enjoys a private adjacent bathroom. We do not let the single and Blue Room at the same time unless it is to one party so that a private bathroom is assured.
The guests’ sitting room was once the wheelwright’s workshop and wooden fellows provide a glimpse into the past. Joey the antique rocking horse and other interesting collectibles adorn this character full space and a roaring fire keeps you cosy into the evening. There are board games, books and local area information and maps for your entertainment.
Please guarantee your booking with written confirmation and a deposit of £25 per room per night payable to The Old Forge. Prices include a farmhouse or continental breakfast consisting of local sausage and bacon, free range eggs from our own hens, home made marmalade, local honey, and apple juice from our orchard. All our ingredients are sourced locally and are either organic or free range.
